About Nurse Practitioners
Many patients are familiar with physicians (MDs and DOs) but may be less familiar with Nurse Practitioners (NPs). At Embrace Health & Wellness, we believe understanding who is providing your care helps build trust, clarity, and confidence.
Nurse Practitioners are advanced practice registered nurses who are nationally certified and licensed to provide comprehensive medical care. NPs are trained to diagnose and treat illness, prescribe medications, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and manage both acute and chronic conditions across the lifespan.
